Ingredients

  • 3 green onions
  • 4 jalapeno chiles
  • 3 Anaheim chilies
  • 4 tomatillos
  • 1 garlic, head
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • 2 limes , juiced
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground, coriander
  • 1/4 cup water, (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Heat grill to high heat.
  2. Place green onions, jalapeno, Anaheim chilies, tomatillos and garlic bulb with the top cut off onto indoor grill plate or outdoor grill and char on all sides.
  3. Once everything is charred remove them from the grill and remove seeds from peppers. Squeeze garlic from bulb.
  4. Place all charred ingredients into blender jug with cilantro, lime juice, salt and coriander and dial to BLEND. Process for  30 seconds.
  5. If salsa is too thick use water to thin out.
  6. Serve with tortilla chips or over Green Chili & Cheese Tamales.
