Holiday cheer is one ingredient one can never get enough of. Unfortunately, many commercially bottled beverages lose their holiday cheer while being processed. In order to make up for this, many companies fortify their beverages with synthetic holiday cheer.

A juicer can make a holiday difference

As most people who juice are aware, fresh juice carries a maximum of vitamins and minerals. Juice with holiday cheer is no exception. The fresher the juice, the greater the quantity and quality of natural holiday cheer. Synthetic approximations are no substitute for the real thing.

Natural holiday cheer is known to be effective against Seasonal Affective Disorder, frowns, isolation, and, when combined with citrus, scurvy. It can also promote laughter and a sense of well-being, and improve family life. Extract holiday cheer with a juice extractor for best results.

Holiday Sparkle — packed with holiday cheer

The Holiday Sparkle is an easy, non-alcoholic drink to serve to party guests … especially kids. I use store-bought cranberry juice vs. fresh to have more tang and juice to the mix, as juicing this type of berry doesn’t always produce much extraction.

I like to serve them in a footless/stemless martini glass and put them in the freezer an hour before to give it that “jack frost” look. Some believe that ice decreases the efficacy of holiday cheer. To maximize it, try rimming the glasses with red or green tiny colored sugar or sprinkles for an even more festive look!
